Supporting Pet Rescue

Petart.Biz is crafted with love in Houston TX by Desktop Solutions Software. Our dog Willow was rescued by The Waiting Under The Willow Foundation, and this PetArt project will be paying it forward.

Willow is featured as a 'model pet' throughout the site, along with our other beloved pets we miss so much.

Desktop Solutions is a known for its commitment to community-focused initiatives. For several years, the company has proudly supported the Waiting Under The Willow Foundation (WUWF), a not-for-profit pet rescue that offers love, care, and second chances to animals in need.

Desktop Solutions has provided WUWF with comprehensive website services, including hosting, design, and ongoing technical support. We worked with shelter staff to create an engaging, easy-to-navigate website that allows visitors to adopt dogs and makes it simple for visitors to donate or get involved. Through this partnership, Desktop Solutions has helped expand the shelter’s outreach, enabling them to connect with more families, volunteers, and donors. This collaboration reflects Desktop Solutions’ belief that technology can be a powerful tool for good and that every pet deserves a chance to find a forever home.

This Pet art project will continue in this tradition and a portion of proceeds will be contributed to WUWF.

By the way -- Willow the dog's name is only cooincidentally the same as Willow the foundation. Willow the dog was named after the WIllow Waterhole Bayou where she was captured by kind people in the neighborhood who then brought her to WUWF. We then adopted Willow the dog through Willow the foundation. The WUWF foundation was named after an actual willow tree, under which their first rescue dog was waiting.
